Nearly 2 Metres Wide: Inside the Cargo Area and Driving Character of the Yangguang Pro
Cargo-box dimensions, loading access and the chassis facts that shape how the Pro drives.

The headline number on the 2026 Yangguang Pro is its width: 1,999 mm. That extra 199 mm over the standard Yangguang is what turns a compact van into one that carries furniture, stacked crates and pallets with room to spare.
How big is the cargo area?
The panel van's cargo box measures 3,155 mm long, 1,850 mm wide and 1,495 mm high, according to the manufacturer. Multiplying those dimensions gives roughly 8.7 m³ of box space; usable volume is slightly less once wheel arches and fittings are counted.
| Yangguang Pro | Yangguang | |
|---|---|---|
| Length | 3,155 mm | 2,830 mm |
| Width | 1,850 mm | 1,680 mm |
| Height | 1,495 mm | 1,365 mm |
| Volume | ≈ 8.7 m³ (box dimensions) | 6.5 m³ (manufacturer) |
How easy is loading?
Goods load through twin rear doors or the sliding side door. The flat floor and near-vertical walls make it easy to fit shelving, partitions or insulation. A 1,850 mm internal width is enough to load many standard pallets side-on — measure your own pallet size to confirm.

What does the chassis tell us about driving?
- Rear-wheel drive from a single rear motor puts traction where the load sits.
- 150 kW and 380 N·m on battery-electric versions — strong pull from a standstill, even when loaded.
- MacPherson front, leaf-spring rear suspension: a proven commercial layout built for payload.
- 215/75 R16 light-truck tyres on steel wheels, with electric power steering.
- Top speed of 100 km/h for EV versions and 120 km/h for the EREV.
What is the cab like?
Two fabric seats with fore-aft and recline adjustment, manual air conditioning on most versions, LED headlights and rear parking sensors. The 9-seat Operation edition adds driver-assistance systems and automatic air conditioning.
Full figures for every version are on the Yangguang Pro specification page.
