Global markets for Wuling Yangguang vans
We ship globally, including the Middle East, South America, Southeast Asia and Africa. These guides cover eight priority markets. Each one lists the import points to check, the climate and road factors that affect an electric van, and the Yangguang versions we recommend.
All eight markets drive on the right, so the left-hand-drive Yangguang is the correct configuration. Import rules change often: treat these guides as a starting checklist and confirm current requirements with your customs broker before you order.
Markets by region
Middle East
Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia requires every imported vehicle to pass SASO conformity through the SABER platform, and limits used light vehicles by age. New 2026 Yangguang and Yangguang Pro vans are the simplest route; recent used vans can qualify too.
- Driving side:
- Right-hand traffic — LHD vehicles
- Conformity:
- SASO certificates via SABER
- Used-vehicle age:
- Model no more than 5 years old (light vehicles ≤ 3.5 t)
UAE / Dubai
The UAE is both a destination and a re-export hub. Vans registered locally need conformity approval from the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT); vans passing through Dubai for re-export follow the rules of their final market.
- Driving side:
- Right-hand traffic — LHD vehicles
- Conformity:
- MoIAT conformity / GCC certificate before registration
- Use:
- Local fleets and regional re-export
CIS & Central Asia
Russia
Russia applies the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) vehicle safety regulation and a utilization fee on imported vehicles. Plan certification and cold-weather range before choosing a version.
- Driving side:
- Right-hand traffic — LHD vehicles
- Technical regulation:
- EAEU TR CU 018/2011
- Approval:
- OTTS (vehicle type) or SBKTS (single vehicle)
Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan follows the same EAEU vehicle regulation as Russia and does not register right-hand-drive vehicles, which makes the left-hand-drive Yangguang a natural fit.

- RHD:
- Registration of RHD vehicles prohibited
- Approval:
- EAEU TR CU 018/2011 — OTTS or SBKTS

- EV VAT:
- Exemption expired 1 January 2026
- Customs:
- State Customs Committee
