Wuling Yangguang export to Ghana
Ghana is one of West Africa's most active vehicle markets and has tightened its standards. The left-hand-drive Yangguang fits the rules; check the Ghana Standards Authority's homologation programme before shipping.

Can right-hand-drive vehicles be imported into Ghana?
Ghana's Customs Act prohibits importing right-hand-drive vehicles unless the Minister approves. The Yangguang is built in left-hand drive, so this is not an issue.
What is the GSA homologation programme?
The Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) runs the National Vehicle Homologation and Conformity Assessment Programme. Used vehicles are assessed against standard GS 4510, which refuses vehicles more than 10 years from manufacture. In 2026 the GSA announced stricter enforcement and later suspended pre-shipment inspection for used vehicles, with a new date to be announced — so check gsa.gov.gh for the current position before you ship.
